Apply for 2021-2022 School Year
Who Needs to Apply for 2021-2022 School Year?
- If you have students at home who will be in grades TK-8 for next year, not currently enrolled in a KIPP School, and want them to attend KIPP, you need to submit an application for these students before the open enrollment deadline of February 12th, 2021 at 4pm!
- Siblings of current students will be given priority (or an increased chance of acceptance) only if they apply prior to February 12th!
- Additionally, if your student is currently a 4th grader and will be transitioning to a new KIPP middle school next year, you will need to reapply in order to secure a seat for 5th grade!
Current students who are advancing to the next grade within the same school do not need to re-apply.

Quick Enrollment FAQ
Our schools are tuition-free, open-enrollment charter public schools. To enroll in a KIPP SoCal school for 2020-2021 school year, you must submit an application either online or in person at one of our schools' offices. If the number of applications received exceeds the capacity of a grade level, we will hold a public lottery (see lottery dates above) to assure all applicants an equal chance of gaining admission in accordance with the preferences outlined in our charter petitions.
To be eligible for the lottery, you must submit your application before 4:00 pm PST on the interest period deadline date. If you submit an application after the deadline, you may still be offered a seat if there is space available, or you will be added to the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.
