We seek qualified, passionate individuals to educate and grow our students and provide support services to our schools. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, and a breadth of professional development opportunities throughout the nationwide KIPP network of 242 schools in 20 states and Washington, D.C.

Why KIPP SoCal
KIPP LA Public Schools and KIPP San Diego Public Schools have united as one nonprofit organization to form KIPP SoCal Public Schools, leveraging over 15 years of experience and commitment to better meet the needs of our students.
Together, we operate 19 tuition-free, open-enrollment charter public schools focused on preparing children from systemically under-resourced communities in Southern California to live choice-filled lives.
An integrated KIPP in Southern California will improve outcomes for children by leveraging the strongest talent and support systems, and providing access to additional resources. As a newly combined Southern California organization, we will promote collaboration with an emphasis on including the local voice and unique needs of each school’s community.
KIPP SoCal’s mission is to teach the academic skills, foster the intellectual habits, and cultivate the character traits needed for our students to thrive in high school, college and life. Through the success of our students, the KIPP team will serve as a model of excellence and collaborate with others to raise the quality of education for the nearly 950,000 students attending low-performing schools across Southern California.
KIPP SoCal offers a competitive benefits package to support the work/life balance of all team members. All full-time regular team members are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and voluntary short-term disability insurance. Team members also receive six-weeks of paid parental leave if their family grows!
KIPP SoCal also offers a graduated matching 401(k) Retirement Plan. We will match contributions up to 6% of compensation. Team members also receive a generous paid time off with teachers receiving 22 holidays and sick leave.
Teaching at KIPP is life changing because it gives me the opportunity to get the support necessary in order for me to become the teacher that I want to be.
