Now that your student has received an offer to attend a KIPP SoCal public school, there are important next steps. You must accept your offer and complete your registration to secure your child’s seat! Continue reading below for more information and requirements and then click on the “Get Started” button below when you’re ready.
If you’ve already completed your child’s registration, congratulations! You’re on your way to a joyful start for the 2025-26 school year and we look forward to welcoming you. If there’s anything you need, please contact your school directly.

Click “Accept” next to your child’s name. We ask all families to accept or decline your offer within 5 days before it expires. If your offer does expire, you will need to reapply. Once you accept your offer, you will automatically be directed to begin the registration process.
Click “Register” to start the required steps. Please complete all registration documents (below) within 10 days of accepting your offer.

After the lottery occurs during the first weekend of February, families will be notified via phone, mail, and/or email. There is no lottery event that parents must attend. On your application, please double-check your child’s birthday and the grade they will enter for the next school year, and the correct contact information. The contact information on the application will be used to inform you of your offer status.
If the number of children interested in a specific grade at a KIPP school exceeds the number of seats available for that grade, names are drawn through a random, automated lottery process. If there are not enough open seats available, children will be placed on a waitlist. If and when seats become available at each KIPP school, we will notify families in the order of the waitlist. We will be making offers off the waitlist on a daily basis as seats become available.
