Our school participates in the CA Universal Meals Program under the Community Eligibility Provision. Breakfast and lunch are offered daily at no charge to all students.

Dress Policy
The goal of KIPP Endeavor College Prep (KECP) is to prepare our students for high school, college and the professional world beyond KIPP. Our dress policy is designed to promote unity, ensure that students are safe and age-appropriately dressed from head to toe, and to limit distractions so the focus is on learning.
STUDENT DRESS CRITERIA AND OPTIONS
Pants/Shorts:
- Navy blue pants
- Navy blue skirt (no shorter than 2 inches above the knees)
- Navy blue shorts (no shorter than 2 inches above the knees, no bicycle shorts)
Shirts:
- Gray polo shirt (KECP, ECP, or no logo)
- Blue Polo shirt (KECP, ECP, or no logo)
- Long-sleeved undershirts are allowed under uniform shirts (only solid navy blue & solid gray, same color as polo uniform shirts)
Sweaters/Sweatshirts:
- Navy blue sweatshirt (KECP, ECP, or no logo)
- Navy blue cardigan sweater (KECP, ECP, or no logo)
- No hoodies/hooded sweatshirts allowed
Hats:
- No Hats
- No Beanies
Footwear:
- Appropriate school shoes that allow students to participate in physical recreation.
- Shoes should not exceed 2 inches above the ankle.
- No sandals, Croc or croc-like shoes, or open-toed shoes.
- Exception: Rain Boots may be worn on rainy days.
Student Dress Criteria: Fridays ONLY
- Jeans are allowed on Fridays ONLY (no ripped jeans, jeans cannot have purposeful rips- including free dress days)
- College shirt, homeroom shirts, or other KIPP Endeavor T-Shirts
- Students can wear a uniform shirt
- Unless otherwise communicated by the school, Fridays are not free dress days. Plain long-sleeve undershirts in the following solid colors: black, white, navy, or gray (optional)
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
- 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade: Physical Education Class Dress Criteria - Optional
- 5th-, 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade students have the option of wearing PE uniforms on the days they have PE. Please see below for the PE uniform criteria as well as the days each grade has PE.
- 5th-8th Grade: PE Dress Criteria
- Navy blue T-shirt (KECP, ECP, or no logo) / or any KECP T-shirt
- Navy blue athletic shorts
- Navy blue joggers or sweatpants
OTHER DRESS CRITERIA
- Clothing, jewelry, and personal items, such as backpacks and book bags, with language or images that are vulgar, sexually suggestive, discriminatory, obscene, libelous, contain threats, or that promote illegal or violent content such as the unlawful use of weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or drug paraphernalia, are strictly prohibited.
- Clothing, shoes, or accessories that may not be age-appropriate, unsafe, or disruptive during the school day will not be allowed.
- KIPP SoCal Public Schools is not responsible for lost or stolen jewelry, accessories, or other personal items.
