Erica Whitehead

Erica is originally from South Carolina and moved to LA in 2018 via Lead LA, a leadership pipeline through Teach for America. Prior to joining the team at KIPP SoCal, Erica was an Assistant Principal at Animo Watts where she served for 4 years. She then transitioned into HR at Green Dot Public Schools as a founding team member. Before LA, Erica taught in Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN. She loves spending time with her husband, Sam, and daughter, Everly.
