Last month, a group of 7th-grade students from KIPP Philosophers Academy had the opportunity to step into one of Los Angeles’ most iconic spaces — SoFi Stadium — for an unforgettable STEAM career day with the Los Angeles Rams.
During their visit, students explored the many careers that keep a world-class stadium running. From landscaping and videography to technology, marketing, and sustainable energy, KIPPsters got a behind-the-scenes look at how science, technology, engineering, arts, and math come together in real-world careers. The experience helped students connect what they’re learning in the classroom to the opportunities ahead.
For many students, the day sparked excitement and inspiration. As one KIPPster, Kamal, shared, “It was such a fun day! I can’t wait to have a good STEAM job with the Rams.” Moments like these help students dream bigger, see themselves in professional spaces, and understand how their interests today can turn into meaningful careers tomorrow.
