This season, the KIPP Corazón Lower School community came together in a powerful way to support families through a toy drive and food distribution focused on care, connection, and community.
With the help of Corazón families and school staff, the school collected more than 140 toys and distributed over 50 food bags to families in need.
The effort was a true team collaboration, made possible by the dedication of the Community School Counselor, RSP Teacher, School Counselors, and Community School Manager, all working together to ensure families felt supported during the season.

Moments like these reflect what makes the Corazón community so special — a shared commitment to showing up for one another and caring for the whole family, not just inside the classroom but beyond it as well.
We’re grateful to everyone who contributed their time, generosity, and heart to make this effort possible. It’s another example of how our KIPP schools continue to build strong, supportive communities — and why families continue to #ChooseKIPP.
