Family Ambassador Program
Family Ambassadors are family leaders representing each of KIPP SoCal Public Schools's schools. Please see your School Leader to learn about the Ambassadors representing your school.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Increased knowledge of the education system
- Provide input on regional parent engagement best practices
- Training focuses on community organizing and leadership development
- Opportunity to represent KIPP SoCal at local community events
- Invitations to KIPP SoCal Schools, KIPP Foundation events, and partner events.
- Meet parents from across the region.
- Attend a minimum of five training sessions
- Meetings are held every last Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Dinner and child care are provided!
- Participate in planning the KIPP SoCal annual Family Summit on March 15, 2025

Meet Our Family Ambassadors
Ambassadors participate in monthly leadership trainings over an academic year, focused on advocacy efforts in our school sites and communities we serve. Some of their work includes education legislation in Sacramento and Washington DC and hosting the annual KIPP SoCal Public Schools Family Summit every spring.
