Amanda Tran

Amanda Tran is the school leader at KIPP Vida Preparatory Academy. She joined the Vida team as a founding kindergarten teacher in 2014, and prior to becoming the school leader served as a dean and assistant school leader. She is the proud daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, and was born and raised in the midwest: Columbus, Indiana. She has a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Southern California, and a masters degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. She is deeply committed to the students and community she serves in South Los Angeles, and is passionate about partnership with families in order to best serve our kids.
