This winter, KIPP Scholar Academy (KSA) families were invited to a special SheStyles holiday pop-up shop — a boutique-style shopping experience designed to help girls feel confident, celebrated, and supported.
In partnership with SheStyles and coordinated by KSA Community School Manager Ms. Williams and the school’s counseling team, the event welcomed over 60 families. Girls across all grade levels selected brand-new outfits at no cost, and families were invited to sign up siblings ages 10-16, extending the experience to even more children.

For many students, the opportunity to choose their own outfits in a warm, affirming space made the day especially meaningful. SheStyles is dedicated to creating experiences that uplift girls and help them feel seen — values that closely align with KIPP SoCal’s commitment to caring for the whole child.
We’re grateful to SheStyles, our school team, and our families for making this pop-up shop possible. Together, we continue to build a school community where students feel supported both in and beyond the classroom — one of the many reasons families continue to #ChooseKIPP.
