Julie Miller co-leads the Business Management and Family Office practice at HCVT LLP, which provides personalized family office, business management, and tax services. Julie has thirty-five years of experience providing family office and business management services to high net worth individuals and families. Along with Mara Hofman, she leads the firm’s Business Management and Family Office practice. Her client portfolio of entertainment professionals includes actors, directors, writers, producers, production companies and other related entertainment business, highly compensated individuals, closely held businesses and personal service firms. The firm’s Family Office and Business Management practice service offerings are comprehensive and highly tailored to the needs of the client. The Hollywood Reporter recognized Julie as one of the Power Business Managers in Los Angeles.

Julie is the 2022 recipient of the CalCPA Lifetime Achievement in Accounting for Entertainment Award. This award is given to a CPA, business manager, or financial professional who has made significant contributions to the accounting profession in the entertainment sector over the course of their career. This well-deserved recognition exemplifies the contributions Julie has made in this specialized industry.

Prior to joining HCVT, Julie was a partner in the business management firm of Kaufman, Bernstein, Oberman, Tivoli & Miller, LLC. Julie began her career at Gelfand, Breslauer, Rennert and Feldman, CPAs. Julie is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance. Julie is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. Active in her community, Julie is on KIPP SoCal’s finance and real estate committees, and is the former president of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Additionally, she previously served on the executive board of Vista Del Mar, a nonprofit organization. Julie chairs the firm’s community service committee and is on the advisory board of the firm's women's initiative, Women@HCVT.
