Nancy Maldonado

Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Rady Children's Hospital

Nancy Maldonado is a community advocate with a strong commitment to under-resourced communities. She has held leadership positions for the past fifteen years and has a proven track record of driving transformational change.

Nancy currently serves as the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Rady Children's Hospital, and was previously the Executive Director at Gallagher and President & CEO of Chicano Federation of San Diego County. She is also a dedicated volunteer, serving as a spokesperson for the State of California’s “Vaccinate All 58” campaign, a member of the San Diego Union Tribune Community Advisory Board and a member of the 211 San Diego Community Information Exchange Advisory Board.

Nancy has also held elected and appointed positions and earned numerous awards including being named an Inspirational Women by San Diego Magazine, and being recognized by the San Diego City Council who proclaimed September 30 as “Nancy Maldonado Day,” in the City of San Diego.
