Jasmin Ampaw

Jasmin Ampaw is currently the Director of Human Resources at KIPP SoCal Public Schools. Prior to joining KIPP SoCal, Jasmin spent eight years on KIPP New Jersey/Miami’s Human Resources team, where she established a robust Employee Relations department in support of the network's rapid growth from 8 to 22 schools. Jasmin originally hails from Staten Island, New York and received a Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College in International Affairs and a Masters of Urban Planning from NYU. Jasmin is also a proud 2012 TFA Corps Member, having taught sixth grade History for two years in Newark, New Jersey. During Jasmin’s free time, she loves to exercise, visit farmer’s markets, try out different coffee shops and listen to podcasts.
