Katelyn Johnson

Katelyn Johnson is the School Leader at KIPP: Pueblo Unido Upper School. Prior to becoming School Leader, she taught for seven years and was a Dean at KIPP: Iluminar Academy in East Los Angeles. She is passionate about math education and in helping students realize that everyone can think about mathematics at a high level. In 2021, she received the KIPPStar Award for excellence in her math classroom. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from the University of Southern California and a Master's in Educational Leadership and Management from Harvard University.
